Few Polish residential plots have large lawns; they are most often found on property belonging to companies or institutions. A medium lawn is the most viable option, but consider whether you really need one.
A large lawn is an excellent "buffer space" separating the house from the hustle and bustle of the street. It's a great place to play football with the kids or have picnics. What's more, such a lawn naturally humidifies the air and creates a particularly pleasant atmosphere around the house. But having a larger lawn isn't just a pleasure. It also brings with it responsibilities.
The larger the lawn, the more time and resources you'll need to devote to seeding, mowing, watering, raking, fertilizing, and aerating. At the same time, the more you neglect these tasks, the more noticeable an unsightly, dry, or overgrown lawn will be. So, be careful what you plan.
Lawn care costs
When planning your lawn, consider the cost of maintaining it. It's not just about buying seeds and water, but also about gardening tools.
